The clubheads of Cleveland's CG10 Black Pear wedge are fashioned out of patented soft CMM (carbon metal matrix) material, which is softer and less dense than carbon steel commonly used in cast and forged clubs. This wedge uses 17 times more carbon than the 8620 steel for enhanced soft feel. Its milled U-shaped grooves enhance spin and feel around greens. Its proprietary finishing process features a layer of chrome over a nickel plating for rich look and ease of framing shot at setup.
