The profile incorporates a thinner, flatter topline, a lower toe and a shorter blade length than the 962. A reduced offset, higher throat area and soft transition from the leading edge to the toe forge a pleasing, classic aesthetic. The patented triple-grind sole limits turf digging for consistent contact. The traditional V groove and scoreline spacing imparts consistent spin performance for maximum shot workability and distance control. The heat-treated, stainless-steel casting ensures solid feel that’s the same in every club. These irons are cast from 431 stainless steel with a unique weight shaft in the cavity and a center of gravity in toward the heel, making it easier to maneuver the clubface for shotmaking.
