Though it may be muscle back, Mizuno’s Titanium insert provides some perimeter weighting, promoting forgiveness on off-center strikes. The MP-59 Irons are Forged from a single 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel billet. Using Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forging process, the lightweight titanium insert is forged directly inside the clubhead for a one piece feel. This also redistributes weight to the perimeter of the clubhead to increase MOI and forgiveness. The MP-59 Irons have a 0.142” Offset. The titanium insert keeps center of gravity toward the club face, promoting stability in off-center strikes, which allows for a lesser offset.
