Introducing the 2013 Ping Anser Driver, the company’s first Adjustable driver! It’s taken a few years, but the guys at Ping have finally appeased the public outcry for adjustable clubs, and 2nd Swing is proud to carry this ground-breaking product from one of golf’s most trusted club makers.
The Ping Anser driver features Ping’s Trajectory Tuning Technology, which consists of an ultra-light, innovative hosel design that allows you to adjust the club’s loft by ½-degree higher or lower. That means the 9.5 degree Anser driver, for instance, can be adjusted to either 10 or 9 degrees with a quick turn of the Ping wrench.
The 2013 Anser driver also features a Rear Sole Weight that positions the Center of Gravity (CG) slightly lower and back to generate penetrating, mid-high launch characteristics. This also works to increase MOI, which promotes neutral head rotation for square contact—that means this club is also very forgiving on miss-hits. Additionally, the Anser’s matte black finish is not only striking, it cuts down on glare to promote easier, more accurate alignment.
The 2013 Anser Driver by Ping is available in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 12.5 degrees and comes stock with the following shaft options: Ping’s TFC 800D (M, R, S & X flexes), Aldila Phenom (R & S flexes), Fujikura Blur red (R, S & X flexes) and the Mitsubishi Diamana ahina (S & X flexes)
