Fourteen Golf is most recognized for their wedges which includes the ever popular MT-28 V5 wedge. These wedges came out with Fourteen’s signature “Reverse Taper Design” with an extra groove placed between the club sole and blade portion of the wedge. This allowed the engineers to move the CG to a higher more stabilizing position. This gives golfers the ability to execute shots with sheer precision. They also come with Fourteen Golf’s uniquely shaped Trapezoid Grooves. When the USGA had the new groove rule looming in 2010, Fourteen Golf was ready for the modifications that needed to be made ahead of time. The engineers committed themselves to designing the best grooves that met and exceeded the performance factors of previous wedges and yet complied with the new rules. They met their objective and more with the Trapezoid Grooves.
The Company spring-loaded off the sensation of the MT-28 V5 wedges and developed a brand new wedge called the RM-11. These new wedges have trapezoidal grooves which have been enlarged by 15% as compared to its predecessor. This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. These new grooves have been tested on the PGA Tour and the Pros all agreed the RM-11 Wedges with their uniquely shaped larger grooves provide extraordinary control, incomparable spin and precision like accuracy.
