The TaylorMade r7 CGB Max irons were engineered specifically to provide easy, forgiving launches that go the distance. The deep undercut cavity does two important things to increase forgiveness. First, it increases perimeter weighting which keeps off-center hits flying straighter due to the higher moment of inertia. Second, it lets the face float freely, increasing distance all across the face by expanding the high COR area of the hitting surface. An extremely low CG increases launch angles that will add even more yardage to your shots. TECH & CONSTRUCTION

Pull-Face Construction
The 455 stainless steel face on the r7 CGB Max irons is constructed separately from the rest of the clubhead and is exceptionally thin and springy.
