The heart of this club’s revolutionary distance technology is the Speed Pocket, also used in the RBZ fairways. A deep opening in the sole behind the club face allows it to flex back on impact, and then launch the ball with a trampoline effect for extreme distance.
Thick-Thin Crown
A thin, lightweight crown lowers the center of gravity while allowing for more perimeter weighting and a larger clubhead volume.
White Matte Finish
The white crown finish is designed to contrast highly with the club’s black face for easy alignment. In addition the matte texture minimizes reflections.
LAUNCH -
A low-CG, perimeter-weighted head means that this club stays stable and doesn’t tilt at impact, making it easier to launch the ball. As it rebounds from the Speed Pocket, the low part of the face moves faster than the rest of the clubhead, which also increases the launch angle.
FORGIVENESS VS CONTROL
This hybrid is designed to be more forgiving than a long iron and more consistent and controllable from bad lies and rough than a fairway wood. The deep face and large profile also add forgiveness.
