Patty Tavatanakit picked up her 2nd career LPGA victory with a win in her home country of Thailand as she captured the Honda LPGA Thailand title. Despite lhaving a three-stroke advantage going into the final round, Tavatanakit found herself trailing by one as she began the 16th hole in her final round. After a birdie at 16 to tie for the lead, Tavatanaki would birdie the 72nd hole to claim the title.

Tavatanakit’s winning bag was primarily made of Titleist clubs, with her only deviation away from Titleist coming with her putter.

Starting off Tavatanakit’s bag is a Titleist TSR2 driver. The TSR2 is one of the more forgiving Titleist models within the TSR line, and that combined with its distance make it an ideal fit for any golfer. For Tavatanakit, it was solid throughout the week, where she found 40 of 56 fairways, giving herself clear looks at the green often. Not only was she finding plenty of fairways, but she was plenty long as well, averaging 284 off the tee for the tournament.

Fairway Wood: Titleist TSR2

Tavatanakit stays with the TSR2 for her fairway wood. Once again its combination of distance and forgiveness gave her another option off the tee, but also a high launching, forgiving option to attack par 5’s in two with.

Driving Iron: Titleist T200

Those aren’t the only option Tavatanaki has off the tee, as she games a Titleist T200 driving iron. You’re seeing more and more players put a players distance iron in the bag for a driving iron these days, as it provides a more forgiving option, yet a club with plenty of launch and ball speed off the face.

Irons: Titleist T100 (5-PW)

For her irons, Patty goes with the Titleist T100’s. Tailored for golfers who prefer a little more consistency, feel and workability, the T100’s performed well for her as she found 58 of 72 greens in regulation, including 16 of 18 in the final round.

Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (50, 56, 60 degrees)

Playing a major role in the GIR percentage was Tavatanakit’s wedges, where she uses the all-new Vokey SM10’s for her gap, sand and lob wedge. While helping her find the green often, they also helped her around the green when she missed, including converting 2 of her 3 sand saves.

The only club in her bag outside of Titleist is her putter, where Patty rolls a Bettinardi Studio Stock 3 mallet. Tavatanakit was consistent in her putting across all four rounds, averaging 27 putts a round, with her 26 putts in her third round the best putting performance of the week for her.
