Callaway 2014 Big Bertha Fairway Wood

Big Bertha is back! The 2014 Callaway Big Bertha fairway woods give players a combination of distance, forgiveness and adjustability that is hard to beat. The addition of Callaway's stong and thin 455 carpener steel face cup boosts ball speeds for a hotter face. By using an internal standing wave engineers were also able to position the clubs center of gravity (CG) low and forword resulting in higher launch, lower spin, and more efficient energy transfer at impact. The 2014 Big Bertha fairway woods wouldn't be deserving of the Big Bertha name if they didn't also offer forgiveness as well. Callaway added more perimeter weighting to increase moment of inertia (MOI) so the face resists twisting at impact for more consistent performance, even on off-center hits. What really makes these fairway woods stand out is the level of adjustability offered by the OptiFit hosel. This system allows for eight different loft/lie configurations so you can fine tune performance and go "Bertha Long". Hyper Speed Face CupThe 455 carpenter steel face cup in the Big Bertha fairway woods is thin and light to give you faster balls speeds across a great portion of the face. Internal Standing WaveStrips of metal strategically positioned behind the face result in a more forward, lower CG for better launch conditions. Adjustable HoselThe OptiFit hosel allows players to adjust loft -1º-+2º and allows for a Draw or Neutral bias. ANo. But 2nd Swing Golf consistently offers the highest trade-in values for used golf clubs.
Q What is the difference between the Trade-In Value and the Re-Sale Value of my used golf clubs?
AThe trade-in value is slightly higher than the resale price. You get more value for your used golf clubs when you trade-in toward other purchases.
Q Why are multiple values given for my used golf clubs?
AA range is given to you so you know what to expect without evaluating the 'condition' of the club.
Q Does the condition of my used golf clubs affect the value?
AYes. The better the condition the higher value given for the item. Condition is evaluated by our knowledgeable staff and the used golf club(s) is priced accordingly.
Q Why are there no values for my used golf clubs?
ANot every golf club model can be given a market value and these items are typically: rare items, antique items, special or tour issue items and other very high-ticket items. If items are extremely old or damaged, they are also not assigned a market value.

At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:

Brand New

The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.

Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult to determine if it has been used.

Above Average

Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.

This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.

Below Average

This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.
