Who’s It For?
Cleveland Golf has taken notice of how popular the idea of combo iron sets has become. This idea is most often associated with muscle-back blades and shallow-cavity designs in order to blend the perfect amount of forgiveness and workability together for an elite ball-striker. However, a combo set can benefit anyone. The Launcher UHX irons utilize a couple of different construction methods, including a hollow body and a cavity back, in one set to provide the perfect amount of distance and forgiveness throughout the set. These irons are best played by low- to mid-handicap players looking to add more distance.
The Tech Story
The progressive construction throughout the set keys the technology in the Cleveland Launcher UHX irons. Specifically, the 4- through 7-iron are built with a hollow-body construction that provides exceptional distance and forgiveness with a deeper center of gravity. This increases playability on those long irons shots over a cavity back design. Meanwhile, the 8-iron, 9-iron, and pitching wedge feature a cavity back construction with a smaller footprint than the hollow body construction of the longer irons. The result is a perfect blended set that includes premium distance and forgiveness in the longer irons and precision and control in the shorter irons, without sacrificing performance on mis-hits. Furthermore, the Launcher UHX irons include a high-strength, variable steel face insert that is incorporated into each long iron for higher ball speeds across the entire face. The irons also come with the newest V-Shaped sole for improved turf interaction and speed retention, while Cleveland’s proprietary Tour Zip Grooves and enhanced Laser Milling deliver reliable, consistent spin and stopping power when attacking the pin.

condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:
The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.
Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult
to determine if it has been used.
Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.
This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has
been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.
This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value
for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.
This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable.
