Cobra King Wedge

Being a King can be frustrating at times, but with Cobra Golf’s new King Wedges you can feel like a King of the short game yet without the frustration. Cobra Golf’s New King Wedges have been designed with the input off their staff players, who understand the benefits of a good wedge and its ability to get the job done, whether your green side trying to chip it close or in the fairway trying to stick it close. The King Wedges come in three distinct grind combinations, each are designed for different playing styles and turf conditions. The Versatile Grind is for players that have a sliding or neutral swing and play in turf conditions that vary from a medium to firm feel. The Classic Grind fits the main three swing types, Slider, Neutral, and Digger; which can be used in any turf condition. The Wide-low Grind is designed to compliment a neutral or Diggers swing type, and should be played in soft to medium turf conditions. In addition to complimenting swing types, the New King Wedges also have a progressive groove pattern, which optimizes spin characteristics for full shots and greenside shots. 3 SOLE GRIND OPTIONS3 different Sole Grind options allow golfers to choose the perfect wedge configuration to match their game. The “Versatile” grind design features toe, heel and trailing edge relief. The “Classic” grind features a progressive width from heel to toe, and the “WideLow” grind features a wide sole with reduced bounce. ANGLE OF APPROACHSTEEP / DIGGER - AKA "the digger" has a steep attack angle that creates deeper longer divots MEDIUM / NUETRAL - The average golfer creates medium size divots with normal depth. SHALLOW / SLIDER - AKA "the slider" uses a sweeping motion that creates shallower & shorter divots. PROGRESSIVE SPIN TECHThe New design with larger gap between grooves in weaker lofted wedges, and narrow, tighter spaced grooves in stronger lofted wedges are providing more consistent trajectory through wedge lofts and delivers an optimized surface roughness across the face to maximize spin and control for greater shot making around the green. BETTER FEELThe New design with larger gap between grooves in weaker lofted wedges, and narrow, tighter spaced grooves in stronger lofted wedges are providing more consistent trajectory through wedge lofts and delivers an optimized surface roughness across the face to maximize spin and control for greater shot making around the green. Fitting MessagePoorly fit irons can be detrimental to your golf game. Too upright and you’ll pull it, too flat and you’ll push; don’t let this problem happen to you. How are trade values determined?

Trade values are based on several factors such as demand, condition, release date and other resale factors. Pricing is updated regularly to ensure that you are receiving the highest trade-in value for your used clubs.

Does the condition of my used golf clubs affect the value?

Yes. The better the condition the higher value given for the item. Condition is evaluated by our knowledgeable staff and the used golf club(s) is priced accordingly.
Important:

  • Iron sets must contain a minimum of five (5) consecutive clubs with matching shafts, including a Pitching Wedge. If a PW is not included, you will be required to enter each of the irons individually.
  • Clubs that are stamped or engraved will be automatically receive the "Below Average" value.
  • Please provide us the information below to help expedite your quote: Please provide dates you need sets delivered to you.

Clubs that do not qualify:

What happens if there are any discrepancies?

If, upon inspection, 2nd Swing identifies any discrepancies (ex. wrong model, condition, missing clubs) we will email you to notify you of the discrepancy and the resulting value change (+/-), if any.

Do I need to include a headcover?

Golf club head covers, tool kits, torque wrenches, or other related accessories should be included whenever possible (though are not mandatory).

Why are there no values for my used golf clubs?

Not every golf club model can be given a market value and these items are typically: rare items, antique items, special or tour issue items and other very high-ticket items. If items are extremely old or damaged, they are also not assigned a market value. You are always welcome to contact our Service & Support team to inquire about the value of your item(s).

Golf Club Condition Guide

At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:

Brand New

The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.

Mint

Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult to determine if it has been used.

Above Average

Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.

Average

This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.

Below Average

This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.

Poor

This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable.
