The Tech Story

Built to hit bombs down the middle, the Cleveland XL 2 Driver features technology designed to create greater ball speed, while adding forgiveness and consistency with each strike. At the center is its MainFrame XL Face, which uses a variable thickness face to increase ball speed. It also repositions weight low and deep into the clubface to create greater forgiveness. It’s improved XL Head Design incorporates even more MOI than the previous generation, helping players enjoy a long, high-launching ball flight. The Rebound Frame provides two flex zones which act in sync, delivering more energy to the ball and more distance on every shot. An 8-gram weight in the end of the shaft provides counterbalance for more control, and creates the feel of a lighter club through impact. With an adjustable hosel as well, the XL 2 Driver can be dialed in to fit any launch angle, distance or shot shape a player desires.
