Who’s It For
The new Exotics EXS driver from Tour Edge was designed to meet the needs of golfers of all ability levels. It’s been constructed from premium materials and was developed to deliver significant forgiveness on off-center strikes. That said, it also features the adjustability that better players are looking for to fine tune their spin rate, launch angle, and shot shape preference. Add it all up and this is a driver that’s like to be played by golfers with a wide range of handicaps.
The Tech Story
In terms of the sheer number of innovations that have been implemented in the Exotics EXS driver, it's arguable that this is the most technologically advanced driver that Tour Edge has ever created..Among the notable features are a thin TSP 910 titanium clubface that works with a 8-1-1 titanium chassis and variable face thickness pattern to provide exceptional ball speeds from impact points across the clubface. Additionally, new RollFace Technology also has been incorporated into the face design, which creates added bulge and roll on toe strikes to create straighter results on that common miss. Carbon fiber has been used to construct the crown and positioned on the toe of the driver to save weight, which was repositioned low and deep in the clubhead to provide players optimal launch conditions and enhanced stability at impact, leading to more distance and accuracy. The EXS driver also feature a new, more aerodynamic shape with a sloped crown and speed channels on the sole, which combine to reduce air drag and maximize clubhead speed. And finally, interchangeable weights of three and nine grams for weight ports located in the sole and an adjustable hosel that allows players to make loft and lie changes create the ability for golfers to dial in the exact ball flight that they’re looking for.
