The Tech Story

The Cobra OPTM X Fairway Wood is engineered as one of the first fairways to optimize both MOI (Moment of Inertia) and POI (Point of Inertia) for unmatched forgiveness and straighter miss-hits. While MOI has long been the standard for stability, POI measures rotation across all three axes—horizontal, vertical, and diagonal—during off-center strikes. By strategically reshaping and redistributing mass symmetrically around the center of gravity, Cobra minimizes diagonal resistance and gear effect, resulting in tighter dispersion and longer, straighter shots. Using A.I.-driven simulations of millions of impact points, engineers perfected weight placement for maximum performance. The FutureFit33™ adjustable hosel offers 33 loft and lie settings for ultimate customization without altering face angle, thanks to SMARTPAD® technology.
