Ping G430 HL Hybrid
Who’s It For?
The hybrid club is becoming a critical piece to the bag of many golfers, and with good reason. The combination of explosiveness and control can be beneficial when transitioning from irons to fairway woods. The G430 hybrids from PING can make that transition seamless for a wide variety of players, offering high ball speeds and superb consistency through a series of technologies. Important for golfers to know when selecting a G430 hybrid is understanding the gapping at the top of their bag, and choosing which loft(s) in the G430 hybrids will best fill their bag.
The Tech Story
Forgiveness and consistency are the two key themes PING continues to hit on with hybrids, and the G430 fairway woods are no different. An all-new CarbonFly Wrap, which consists of an ultra-thin and lightweight composite crown that wraps into the heel and toe of the skirt, creating weight savings that are allocated throughout the clubhead to improve MOI and lower the center of gravity. Additionally, Spinsistency returns in the PING G430 hybrids to improve performance on low-face strikes by subtly decreasing the loft, helping fight against the “ballooning” effect that can take place when the ball is struck on the bottom of the face. FaceWrap Technology consists of a high-strength maraging steel face that wraps into the sole and crown to increase face flexing, resulting in more energy transfer at impact. The G430 hybrid is designed for golfers seeking a fast, forgiving, and consistent hybrid.
