The Tech Story

All forged Mizuno irons begin with the Grain Flow Forging process at Mizuno’s iconic facility in Japan. This process has consistently produced some of the softest feeling irons in golf. The JPX 923 Forged features the third generation of Mizuno’s Chromoly Forging in the 4-7 iron for higher ball speeds, while the 8-iron through wedge consist of 1025E Pure Select mild carbon for soft feel and control. Plus, a new V-Chassis enables a thinner topline and creates a dense, more satisfying feel at impact. Additional bevelling to the trailing edge delivers smooth turf interaction, while shorter blade lengths in the scoring irons allow for more control where it’s needed.
