Who’s It For?

While TaylorMade is perhaps most known for its drivers and fairway woods, but TaylorMade’s Spider putters have been tremendous over the years at providing golfers with high MOI and forgiveness on the greens. After all, over 40 percent of golf shots for most players are hit with a putter, so using a putter with as much technology as possible is a huge bonus. The Spider GTx series is the latest TaylorMade Spider putter family and features expanded shaping and a new face insert. The GTx Single Bend putter is face balanced to best fit golfers with a straight-back, straight-through putting stroke.

The Tech Story

TaylorMade has dubbed the Spider putters the Modern Shape of Stability due to its high-MOI nature. The Spider GTx family sets a new standard for performance and construction with new extreme back weighting for superb forgiveness. A heavy stainless steel back weight (154 grams) creates a deeper and farther back center of gravity for awesome performance on mishits. TaylorMade’s trademark Pure Roll insert has been updated for a firmer feel and consists of manufactured black TPU urethane with silver aluminum beams at a 45 degree angle designed to promote topspin. Golfers will also notice the True Path Alignment cues on the head that create easy and accurate setup. The Spider GTx family is available in six colors (White, Silver, Black, Red, Ice Blue, Pink).
