The Callaway Mavrik Irons feature a revolutionary face construction that includes a new Flash Face Cup, which was created with the use of Artificial Intelligence. Each loft contains a unique face architecture designed specifically for that club to optimize performance. The Mavrik Max irons offer the deepest center of gravity and the largest body of all Mavrik iron models for the most forgiveness and the easiest launch, which is a great fit for high-handicap golfers and moderate swing speeds. The standard Mavrik irons will appeal to the widest range of players with a mid-sized game-improvement design and incredibly fast ball speeds. The Mavrik Pro irons feature a more compact shape that adds workability for better ball-strikers. 

The Tech Story

Callaway has been an industry leader in iron performance for several years now, specifically when it comes to ball speed. The Flash Face Cup technology in the Mavrik irons has allowed Callaway to take its superb ball speed performance in irons to another level. Each clubface in the set has its own Flash Face architecture that is specifically designed to maximize performance for that particular loft. Meanwhile, the 360 Face Cup flexes and releases at impact to improve performance on contact made anywhere on the face. These two technologies work together to provide long, consistent distance. Additionally, Callaway’s Tungsten Energy Core has allowed custom tungsten weights to be positioned precisely in the clubhead to allow for strengthened lofts while maintaining preferred trajectories, spin rates, and landing angles. Improving both distance and feel is Callaway’s proprietary urethane microsphere formula. Over one million microspheres have been strategically placed into each clubhead to absorb unwanted vibrations and maximize COR.
