Ping Anser Driver

The Ping Anser driver offers a nice all-around blend of distance, feel and forgiveness, with the added benefit of adjustable loft angles that allow you to fine-tune your shot trajectory. The weighting of the club head optimizes it for a mid- to high-launch, but the adjustable loft allows players to tune their trajectory up or down as the shot dictates. Consistent ball speed across the face and very low spin rates help to reduce the effects of miss-hits. Overall this is a decently forgiving driver, but it has more feel and responsiveness than drivers in Ping’s G series. Trajectory Tuning TechnologyPing has added adjustable to the hosel without adding weight or bulk to to the design. You can adjust the loft up or down by .5 degrees, all the change you need to affect the trajectory of your shots significantly. The technology minimizes the face-angle change produced by the different loft settings, keeping you square to the ball no matter what setting you choose. Variable Ti 6-4 ClubfaceThe clubface features variable thicknesses, increasing ball speed across the face to produce consistent distance and more forgiveness. Rear External Sole WeightingThe lightweight Ti 8-1-1 clubhead construction frees up weight, which has been place in an external weight located in the rear of sole. This placement lowers the center of gravity and increases the MOI. Fitting MessageHaving a driver fit to your game can give you longer, more accurate tee shots.
