Ping Anser Fairway Wood

Combining the feel of the Ping i-series fairway woods with the high forgiveness of the G-series, the Ping Anser fairway woods might be the answer for golfers of many different skill levels. With this model, Ping has introduced adjustability into its fairway woods for the first time, signaling that the company known for its meticulousness feels it hasn't sacrificed performance to sell adjustable clubs. The center of gravity in the Ping Anser fairways is placed for a slightly lower than launch with low spin rates to promote distance. The faces have a large hitting surface, which provides forgiveness on shots missed toward the heel or toe and adds distance and accuracy to miss-hits. The adjustable hosel allows players to control their ball trajectory to best suit the conditions they encounter on the course. 17-4 Stainless Steel ConstructionA more compact head than the G20, the face has a large hitting surface to reduce clubhead twisting on heel and toe misses for better distance and accuracy. Trajectory Tuning TechnologyOffered for the first time ever in a Ping fairway wood, the combination of a lightweight titanium screw and aluminum hosel maintains the shape and weight of previous hosels while offering players the ability to adjust loft by up to .5 degrees up or down. External Sole WeightingAn external weight placed in the rear of the sole is positioned to promote a low-spinning, mid-high ball flight. Fitting MessagePING has always been on the forefront of custom fit technology and introduced golfers that not every off-the-rack club will fit every swing. In order to get the best possible performance from your PING fairway wood, our award winning fitting staff will analyze your swing using PING nFlight software to find the right club for you based on swing speed, launch angles, spin rates and many other factors. After you’ve got the right club, our fitters will make any necessary adjustments to find the specific lie, loft and shaft combination that maximizes on course performance.
