Ping Rapture Hybrid

Ping Rapture Hybrid
The Ping Rapture Driving Iron might just be the perfect combination of a long iron and a hybrid. It’s got a much higher MOI than a long iron, which delivers incredible forgiveness, while the wider sole makes it as playable as a hybrid. At the same time, the Rapture driving iron’s 18° loft offers much less spin than a hybrid and a lower trajectory, while the flat, stainless steel face provides a level of workability well above that of a hybrid with a typical “bulge and roll” face. This is going to be a powerful tool to use on windy days or on fast courses where you can expect a lot of rollout, and it can be used off the tee or from any lie on the course. Perimeter Tungsten Weighting -Dense weights around the perimeter of the clubhead increase MOI and make this driving iron very forgiving compared to its 2-iron counterparts. Wide Sole -With a wider sole than a long iron, the Rapture driving iron has similar playability characteristics to a hybrid. 456 Stainless Steel Face -The flat face is a key to the Rapture’s performance, allowing more workability than a hybrid while offering extremely fast ball speeds. Low Center of Gravity -The flat face is a key to the Rapture’s performance, allowing more workability than a hybrid while offering extremely fast ball speeds. Ping TFC 949 Graphite Shaft -The shaft is a half-inch longer than a standard 2-iron, and, according to Ping Chairman and CEO John A. Solheim, it’s designed for improved energy transfer for hotter ball speeds and increased distance. Foggy Chrome Finish -The finish channels tradition while reducing glare and looking great in the bag, too. Fitting MessageMake sure you’ll never find a shot you don’t have in the bag with consistent distance coverage throughout your set. Custom fitting for a PING hybrid can bridge specific distance gaps you may have between your fairway woods and irons. By analyzing your swing characteristics using PING nFlight software technology our fitters, recipients of PING fitting awards, will find the hybrid that completes your set and make any adjustments needed to the club’s specifications to maximize performance.

AThe trade-in value is slightly higher than the resale price. You get more value for your used golf clubs when you trade-in toward other purchases.
Q Why are multiple values given for my used golf clubs?
AA range is given to you so you know what to expect without evaluating the 'condition' of the club.
Q Does the condition of my used golf clubs affect the value?
AYes. The better the condition the higher value given for the item. Condition is evaluated by our knowledgeable staff and the used golf club(s) is priced accordingly.
Q Why are there no values for my used golf clubs?
ANot every golf club model can be given a market value and these items are typically: rare items, antique items, special or tour issue items and other very high-ticket items. If items are extremely old or damaged, they are also not assigned a market value.

Golf Club Condition Guide

At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:

Brand New

The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.

Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult to determine if it has been used.

Above Average

Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.

This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.

Below Average

This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.

This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable.
