Ping I20 Wedge

Winner of the 2012 Golf Digest Editor’s Choice award, the PING i20 iron set offers better players a premier level of distance and shot-shaping control to fine-tune the scoring element of their game. The progressive head size and offset throughout the set maximizes the characteristics you’re looking for in each iron. With more weight packed into the lower part of the head, these irons allow players to launch the ball high with ease in the long and mid irons. The shorters irons have a CG placement designed to produce a controllable, penetrating flight with great stopping power on the green. These irons were made with workabilility and shot control in mind. The thicker face is very responsive, letting you know what kind of contact has been made, though the CTP and stability bars will minimize the penalty and help keep distance consistent. The toe weighting keeps MOI high and adds forgiveness. Custom Tuning PortThe i20s are equipped with a Custom Tuning Port in the back cavity that optimizes center of gravity positioning for each club in the set. Tungsten WeightingA dense tungsten weight in the toe increases MOI for less twisting and better accuracy on hits that occur away from the center of the face. Stabilizing BarsThe addition of stability-enhancing bars to the rear cavity add mass where it’s needed behind the face to promote consistent distance on each shot. Fitting MessageNo two golfers have exactly the same swing, so why would they have the exact same clubs? PING revolutionized the golf club industry by introducing the idea that the everyday player, too, deserves custom fit clubs for their swing type, just like the pros. Our award winning fitters use PING nFlight technology to analyze your swing to determine the specifications your irons need to optimize carry distance, shot shape, trajectory and spin rates to improve your iron distance, control and consistency.
