Four days of brilliant golf earned Xander Schauffele a lifetime of Olympic glory. The American star separated himself from the field with a second-round 63 that featured two eagles and six birdies. A final-round 67 at Kasumigaseki Country Club clinched the gold medal for Schauffele. In Tokyo, the Callaway staffer gamed an Epic Speed Triple Diamond Driver (9 degrees), an Epic Speed Triple Diamond 3-wood (15 degrees), a Mavrik Sub Zero 7-wood (20 degrees), Apex TCB Irons (4-PW), a Jaws MD5 (52 degrees) wedge, Titleist Vokey Design SM6 (56 degrees) and SM8 (60 degrees) wedges, and an Odyssey O-Works #7 CH Red Putter.
The greatest women’s golfer of all time added another trophy to her sizable collection by winning the U.S. Senior Women’s Open. Annika Sorenstam lapped the field at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield Connecticut by shooting -12 for the week, eight strokes lower than her nearest competitor. Annika’s bag features an Epic Speed Driver (9 degrees), two Epic Speed Fairway Woods (15, 18 degrees), a Callaway Mavrik Hybrid (20 degrees), Apex 21 Irons (5-PW), Jaws MD5 Wedges (48, 54, 60 degrees), and an Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie Putter. Sorenstam’s fellow Swede Liselotte Neumann finished second and 2018 U.S. Senior Women’s Open winner Laura Davies took third.
