TaylorMade SLDR Mini Driver

The TaylorMade SLDR Mini Driver is a new breed of driver that can be beneficial to golfers of every skill level. It was designed to give players a choice between Driver and Fairway when on the tee box. This "Driver" has some of the same design features as the SLDR metalwoods, while including the distance-enhancing patented Speed Pocket. With a 260cc head it is slightly larger than the typical fairway, and over 40% smaller than SLDR 460. In addition to having a smaller head, the shaft is shorter as well for added club head control. The TP shaft is a heavier weight, closer to an actual fairway wood shaft and the standard shaft is lighter in weight closer to a driver shaft. Speed PocketThe patented "Speed Pocket" was introduced by Taylormade in 2012 with the Launch of the popular RocketBallz line, it has been incorporated into multiple TaylorMade lines since it's inception. The "Speed Pocket" allows the face to flex, giving the club head a spring effect, which increases the speed of the ball of the face creating greater distances for all. Low & Forward Center of GravityLike the rest of TaylorMade's SLDR metalwoods, this model has a Center of Gravity placed low and forward in the club to allow better launch angles. Fitting MessageOne of the most important clubs in any golfer’s bag is the driver. It can also be one of the most difficult to hit with consistency, so when you’re looking for a new TaylorMade driver you want to be sure you find one that fits your swing and your style. At 2nd Swing our staff is certified in all TaylorMade products and our fitters have received regional TaylorMade Fitters of the Year honors, so you know they are some of the best you can find. By analyzing your swing characteristics in our state-of-the-art facilities, our fitters can help you identify which driver is right for you and customize the length, loft, and face angle to give you longer, straighter, more consistent drives.
