Who’s It For?

The Limited Edition Teryllium T22 putters from Titleist and Scotty Cameron are designed to provide exceptional feel thanks to the lightly-milled Teryllium face insert that is fused into the clubhead. This, combined with the three classic Scotty Cameron model options, provide all golfers with the performance and the feel demanded by the best players in the world. The Teryllium T22 Fastback 1.5 putter works best for golfers with little to no arc in their putting strokes. For those who employ considerable arc in their putting strokes, the Newport or Newport 2 Teryllium T22 models may work better.

The Tech Story

The new Teryllium T22 putters have been constructed to optimize feel while delivering the same performance that three wildly successful Scotty Cameron models have delivered for years. The updated, lightly-milled Teryllium face insert is fused into the clubhead with an improved vibration dampening system. This is blended with the original elastomer and a high-tech membrane that pairs perfectly with 303 stainless steel, producing incredibly responsive feel. Since the original Teryllium insert was used by Tiger Woods to win the 1997 Masters Tournament, Titleist and Cameron have improved the weight distribution and MOI through modern milling and manufacturing techniques. Also included with these putters is advanced stability weighting with removed stainless steel heel-toe sole weights, allowing the golfer to customize the putter weight to fit his or her preferences. In terms of appearance, the toplines have been built thinner and square for a clean, confident setup at address. The beautiful tactical matte black finish increases durability over previous carbon steel models.

Quotable

“There’s nothing quite like the feel of Teryllium. It’s the number one material request I get from players. And, as we’ve seen multiple majors won over the past few seasons with a Teryllium-inserted putter, it’s a great time to celebrate this legendary design. T22 gave us the opportunity to take everything we’ve learned over the past two decades and refine the entire look, feel, and performance. Like a modern day muscle car, everything looks original at first glance, but each component is brand new. Better milling. Better materials. Better construction. They’re made to game.” -- Scotty Cameron, Titleist Putter Designer
