Meanwhile, the higher lofts feature a modified W grind that adds forgiveness out of bunkers and thick rough but also includes a low leading edge for open-faced shots. While the cavity-back, game-improvement shaping offers playability that blends better with iron sets, spin and control is not sacrificed. Callaway’s proprietary JAWS grooves provide precise edge sharpness on every groove for maximum grip and spin from all types of lies. The highest-lofted options feature grooves that stretch across the entire clubface to allow for every bit of spin possible.
