Since 1963, Tad Moore has placed an indelible stamp on the game of golf with his timeless golf club designs. Countless professional players have won at the game’s highest level using Moore’s equipment, and nearly six decades after beginning his career, the living legend has taken his talents to Handmade Stix to push the envelope of golf design even further.
One only needs to take a single look at a T.P. Mills putter to grasp the level of craftsmanship that David Mills possesses. Mills specializes in creating carbon steel flatsticks, producing his playable works of art out of his home base in Alabama. Having honed his craft for decades, Mills continues to churn out masterpiece after masterpiece, refusing to settle for anything less than excellence.
Inarguably the most accomplished golfer in the Handmade Stix stable, Todd Demsey’s career resume includes winning the 1993 NCAA Championship, serving as a member of the winning 1993 U.S. Walker Cup team, and playing multiple seasons on the PGA Tour. Today, Demsey designs some of the highest quality persimmon clubs in the golf industry. With the products crafted by the hands of someone who competed at golf’s highest level, it is no surprise that Demsey’s old-school sticks boast new-school performance.
With past experience as a golf professional, PGA Tour caddie, custom fitter, and staff representative for a major equipment manufacturer, Weston Maughan has seen every corner of the golf industry. Now settled down in Utah, and equipped with a boatload of experience, Maughan has built a solid internet following showcasing his stylish custom putters and vast reservoir of golf knowledge.
“I make art, I don’t make parts.” In just seven words, Joe Legendre excellently sums up the mentality that drives his Legend Golf Company. Based out of Sutton, Massachusetts, Legendre creates high-end, custom equipment ranging from putters to ball marks to divot tools.
