The Epic MAX Star Hybrid is an exciting new lightweight, premium product from Callaway. Over the past several years, the company has refused to rest on its laurels and has continued to invest in A.I. technology to further increase the Epic line’s performance. Callaway’s new Epic Star MAX Hybrids are extremely light and fast, making a high launch and impressive ball speed numbers easier to attain. Given its shape and tech characteristics, the Epic Star MAX Hybrid is designed for lower swing speed golfers looking for more speed and forgiveness.

The Tech Story

Like other Callaway Epic MAX Star products, this hybrid’s lightweight design is the club’s key design feature. Also, Callaway’s Jailbreak technology has been reimagined to help golfers play even better. Using artificial intelligence, Callaway’s engineers equipped the Epic Star MAX Hybrid with brand new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades. The blades stiffen the club’s body, improving stability in both horizontal and torsional directions. This allows the clubface to “twist” at impact to increase the performance of off-center strikes.
