Cobra KING F9 Speedback One Length Iron Set

Who’s It For

Cobra’s new KING F9 Speedback One Length irons would qualify as a game-improvement product and as such will offer golfers impressive forgiveness and distance, as well as naturally high launch conditions. As it relates to the One Length F9 irons, the one-length concept has become more mainstream in recent years in light of Bryson DeChambeau’s success on the PGA Tour. More specifically, each iron in the set comes at the standard length of a 7-iron, with the idea being that golfers can enjoy more consistency by having one setup and ball position with each iron in their bag. For mid- and high-handicappers who are looking to improve their iron play and potentially simplify things, the F9 One Length irons could be a great option. Of course, for those who are interested in the F9 irons but not the one-length system, Cobra has progressive sets available as well.

The Tech Story

Driving the performance of the new F9 Speedback One Length irons is what Cobra has done from a weighting standpoint. Most notably, a low, back weight that spans the back of the clubface combines with tungsten that has been positioned in the heel and toe to provide the optimal CG position to achieve fast ball speeds and high launch, as well as impressive MOI, the latter of which will of course help provide better results on shots struck from the heel or toe or low on the face. Cobra’s E9 Pwrshell clubface, meanwhile, is driving ball speed and thanks to its variable face thickness design helps protect ball speed on off-center strikes. The F9 One Length irons also feature CNC milled faces and grooves to provide precision as it relates to spin and trajectory, and a multi-material medallion has been positioned in the cavity to dampen vibrations at impact to produce a more pleasing sound and feel. Also worth noting is the progressive hosel design that has been implemented into the F9 design, as hosels in the longer irons are shorter to create a lower CG position for higher launch, while the hosels in the shorter irons are longer to move the CG higher, with the result being that players can control their ball flight more easily with their scoring clubs. And finally, as is the case with the entire F9 line, F9 One Length irons come standard with COBRA CONNECT technology, allowing players to pair their irons with their smartphone to track stats and identify shot tendencies.

Trade values are based on several factors such as demand, condition, release date and other resale factors. Pricing is updated regularly to ensure that you are receiving the highest trade-in value for your used clubs.

Does the condition of my used golf clubs affect the value?

Yes. The better the condition the higher value given for the item. Condition is evaluated by our knowledgeable staff and the used golf club(s) is priced accordingly.

  • Iron sets must contain a minimum of five (5) consecutive clubs with matching shafts, including a Pitching Wedge. If a PW is not included, you will be required to enter each of the irons individually.
  • Clubs that are stamped or engraved will be automatically receive the "Below Average" value.
  • Please provide us the information below to help expedite your quote: Please provide dates you need sets delivered to you.

Clubs that do not qualify:

  • Clubs with cracked or dented heads, heads that rattle and clubs with broken shafts.
  • Fitting irons.
  • Counterfeit clubs.

What happens if there are any discrepancies?

If, upon inspection, 2nd Swing identifies any discrepancies (ex. wrong model, condition, missing clubs) we will email you to notify you of the discrepancy and the resulting value change (+/-), if any.

Do I need to include a headcover?

Golf club head covers, tool kits, torque wrenches, or other related accessories should be included whenever possible (though are not mandatory).

Why are there no values for my used golf clubs?

Not every golf club model can be given a market value and these items are typically: rare items, antique items, special or tour issue items and other very high-ticket items. If items are extremely old or damaged, they are also not assigned a market value. You are always welcome to contact our Service & Support team to inquire about the value of your item(s).

Golf Club Condition Guide

At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:

Brand New

The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.

Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult to determine if it has been used.

Above Average

Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.

This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.

Below Average

This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.

This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable.
