Who’s It For?

Mizuno’s ST-G fairway wood is unique, but that doesn’t mean it lacks in performance. Of note, the ST-G fairway wood features a smaller clubhead volume than most fairway woods that produces lower spin. Ultimately, these features (a smaller clubhead and lower spin) cater more toward a golfer with higher swing speeds and/or golfers with lower handicaps seeking a lower, workable ball flight.

The Tech Story

The Mizuno ST-G fairway wood is designed to appeal to high speed and/or highly skilled golfers. The compact player’s profile promotes a lower and more workable ball flight compared to many other fairway woods. Meanwhile, the 80-gram stainless steel plate on the sole reduces spin dramatically and drops the center of gravity low, helping generate both high launch and low spin. The clubface features a Multi-thickness CORTECH design that provides forgiveness and high ball speeds regardless of where contact is made. Also worth noting is the Quick Switch Hosel that allows golfers to utilize 4 degrees of loft adjustability.
