The Tech Story

The EXO Stroke Lab putters provide the ideal weight distribution throughout the putter to provide maximum forgiveness. The multi-material EXO construction consists of lightweight 6061 milled aluminum exo-cage, which saves weight that can be redistributed to the stainless steel perimeter section of the putter head. The added weight to the perimeter promotes forgiveness and reduces face-twisting in the event of an off-center strike. Meanwhile, the Stroke Lab shaft features a revolutionary new weight distribution that improves the key component to putting success: the putting stroke. The Stroke Lab shaft is made of a graphite body and a steel tip, producing 40 grams of weight savings. Odyssey redistributed 30 grams of the new weight into the grip end and 10 grams into the clubhead. This design dramatically changes performance dynamics and promotes a smoother, more accurate, and more consistent putting stroke. Each of the EXO Stroke Lab models also boasts a White Hot Microhinge face insert, which consists of several tiny hinges that meet perfectly with golf ball dimples to produce instant forward roll.
