Srixon ZX4 MK II Single Iron
Who’s It For?
Srixon has made significant leaps in the golf marketplace over the last few years, especially when it comes to irons. New in 2023 is the ZX MK II iron family from Srixon, designed to provide a clean, pleasing aesthetic paired with exceptional performance for all skill levels. The Srixon ZX4 MK II irons fall into the game-improvement category, built to deliver superb forgiveness and high ball speeds to players with mid-to-high handicaps.
The Tech Story
The new Srixon ZX4 MK II irons present a sleek, narrow look at address and a forged feel. However, behind the pleasing look and feel are several technologies that provide high MOI and explosive distance. The MainFrame is a variable face thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities that is carefully milled into the backside of the iron face in order to maximize face flexing at impact, promoting high ball speeds. The hollow iron bodies include a moderate sole width, long blade length, and high offset to maximize forgiveness. Meanwhile, for more control, the ZX MK II irons feature progressive grooves. The 4-iron through 7-iron include wide grooves that are best for longer shots in all conditions, while the 8-iron through wedge have deeper, closer set grooves that offer more control and spin. And of course, all of the ZX MK II feature Srixon’s Tour VT Sole, a unique sole shaping that allows for clean turf interaction in any conditions or lie.
