With the new Jaws Raw wedges, Callaway is taking spin to its purest form. The Callaway Jaws Raw wedges boast the most aggressive grooves in golf to provide golfers with maximum spin and control around the greens. Selecting the right Jaws Raw wedges for your game will come down to understanding which of the four sole grinds fits the best. The ‘S’ grind will fit the most golfers and performs well on square-faced shots. The ‘W’ grind packs the most forgiveness for players who need stability on mis-hits. The ‘X’ Grind is for golfers with a steep angle of attack that like to manipulate the clubface. And finally, the new ‘Z’ grind is designed for skilled shot-makers that like to open the clubface around the greens.

The Tech Story

The new Callaway Jaws Raw wedges are total spin machines, designed to take spin and control to new levels. They feature the most aggressive grooves in golf, which consist of Callaway’s Offset Groove-in-Groove technology and a new raw clubface that exposes the groove edge for maximum friction between the clubface and ball. Additionally, for the first time ever, Callaway implemented tungsten weighting in the sand and lob wedges to centralize the center of gravity position for enhanced control and feel. Of note within the 17 loft/bounce options, the all-new Z grind is a more forgiving low-bounce option that improves turf interaction through an aggressive leading-edge chamfer. The Callaway Jaws Raw wedges are available in a Raw Face Chrome or a Raw Black Plasma.
