Who’s It For
PING’s new Prodi G junior golf clubs have been optimized in every way imaginable for golfers between the ages of 7 and 13. Each club has been manufactured using PING’s most recent technology to provide exceptional performance, but each club has also been created solely with the junior player in mind, with special attention being placed on swing weight, length, and lie angle to help young golfers develop the proper technique and enjoy the game. Prodi G junior clubs can be purchased individually or in packages ranging from five clubs to 11 clubs, with a Prodi G Hoofer stand bag included with each package. More specifically, the “G” package is the most comprehensive that’s offered and includes a driver, fairway wood, hybrid, 6-iron through PW, gap wedge, sand wedge, and putter. The “G” package is recommended for golfers who are least 5-foot-2. Each package being offered will also be eligible for PING’s “Get Golf Growing” program, which will be discussed in further detail below.
The Tech Story
To provide enhanced value for junior golfers and their parents, PING has instituted its “Get Golf Growing” program with the Prodi G junior golf clubs. To be eligible, customers must purchase a Prodi G package or a minimum of five clubs individually during the same transaction. Having qualified under those terms, the consumer is entitled to send each club back one time to have it adjusted at no cost to fit the junior player’s needs as he or she grows. Adjustments will include re-shafting or lengthening the shaft, re-gripping, and re-weighting to ensure optimal performance. Notably, each club that qualifies for the program can be adjusted at a different time based on need and there is no expiration date for having each club adjusted. The customer will be responsible for shipping the club(s) to PING and the associated costs, and PING will handle the return shipping and costs. Turnaround times are expected to equate to one week upon receipt, and this program only applies to Prodi G junior clubs. In terms of the individual Prodi G junior clubs being offered, with the exception of the putter, all feature graphite shafts that are available in two flexes to meet the needs of any player. The irons and wedges have been constructed using 17-4 stainless steel and utilize CTP inserts to improve feel at impact. The driver, which has 15 degrees of loft, features a titanium clubface and body, while the fairway wood and hybrid feature a stainless steel body and face. And finally, the Voss-style putter is a true blade that helps players learn to find the center of the face more often, which allows them to improve feel at a young age.

At 2nd Swing Golf, we work very hard to accurately rate our clubs according to our
condition guide. Our golf club condition guide is as follows:
The golf club is in brand new condition and has never been used on a golf course.
Shows virtually no traces of wear and has been hit 1-3 times total. It will be difficult
to determine if it has been used.
Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition.
This club has seen normal usage for an extended period of time, at least one season, has
been well cared for, and is still in good used condition.
This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Below average clubs offer a great value
for someone who isn't as interested in cosmetics but cares about performance.
This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable.
