TaylorMade TP Red White Ardmore 2 Putter
Who’s It For
TaylorMade’s new TP Red-White putter collection features three mallet designs that were created to provide players with enhanced alignment aids and significant forgiveness on mis-hits. The Ardmore 2 is a progressive full mallet that features 27 degrees of toe hang. As such, it will work best for players who have slight to more moderate arcs in their putting stroke.
The Tech Story
The biggest change as it relates to the new TP Red-White Collection putters are the high-contrast red and white sightlines that have been utilized to help players improve their alignment and get their putts started on their intended line. More specifically, the Ardmore 2 features what TaylorMade is calling a “Two-Cavity, One-Top” sightline. Also of note is that Red-White Collection putters are milled from premium 304 stainless steel and feature TaylorMade’s Pure Roll aluminum insert, which gets the ball rolling more quickly while also providing a firm, responsive feel. They also feature significant perimeter weighting to help players enjoy better distance control on off-center strikes. Additionally, adjustable sole weights allow players to dial in their preferred weight and feel, and a steel shaft with a black PVD finish completes the package visually.
