The Tech Story
The idea of a hybrid is to make it easier for golfers to hit solid shots from the long-iron distances. The ultra-lightweight construction of the F-Max Airspeed hybrids makes them perhaps the easiest hybrids to hit in golf, especially for those with slower or moderate swing speeds. The lighter clubhead, shaft, and grip all combine to reduce the weight of the club and allow golfers to swing faster while maintaining a smooth tempo. Additionally, the clubhead is designed with a stronger weight concentration in the back heel to help golfers square the clubface at impact and prevent the slice or fade miss. A shallow face profile lowers the center of gravity further to produce a higher ball flight that lands softly on the greens.
