Who’s It For?

With the Mavrik hybrids, Callaway is introducing the use of Artificial Intelligence to create fully optimized hybrid clubfaces. This innovation, in addition to a plethora of other technologies (new and old) results in tremendous performance from all three hybrid models. The Mavrik Pro hybrid features a compact size, smaller profile, and neutral center of gravity that allows for more workability for better players. The standard Mavrik hybrid is designed to fit a wide range of golfers with its mid-sized head, low center of gravity, and high MOI. Meanwhile, the Mavrik Max hybrid offers the largest body and deepest center of gravity to provide maximum forgiveness and easy launch to high-handicap golfers and moderate swing speed players.

The Tech Story

Callaway used its supercomputers and Artificial Intelligence to create a different face design for every model and loft available in the Mavrik hybrids to promote the optimal combination of speed, launch angle, and spin rate. These are the first hybrids to ever include Flash Face technology, which is more efficient at delivering fast ball speeds across the entire clubface. Callaway’s patented Face Cup and Jailbreak technologies also combine to boost distance and performance on mis-hits. Jailbreak consists of two internal bars positioned just behind the clubface that run parallel to each other and connect the sole with the crown. This increases the efficiency of the energy transfer at impact and stabilizes the clubhead.
