Mizuno JPX 923 Tour & Forged Irons

Mizuno’s Trademark Feel Just Got Better
New Mizuno irons are always exciting, especially when it’s a forged iron. For decades, Mizuno has been lauded for the superb feel in its forged irons. Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forging process, which takes place in its iconic Japan facility, has also constructed the JPX 923 Tour and JPX 923 Forged irons. Each delivers a superb, soft feel. However, from there, the irons offer different characteristics for different types of golfers.

The JPX 923 Tour irons are designed for the better golfer seeking superb feel and workability above all else. Added in this version of the JPX Tour iron, which is Mizuno’s most popular iron in pro golf, is a soft copper underlay between the Nickel and Chrome to make the feel even softer. Meanwhile, the JPX 923 Forged iron consists of Forged Chromoly in the longer irons to help pack more ball speed. It falls into the players-distance category to help golfers with low-to-mid handicaps or skilled golfers seeking a bit more distance in their irons than a players model.

Mizuno JPX 923 Irons

SPEED, FORGIVENESS, and FEEL
Excellent feel and control are qualities embedded in every Mizuno iron. With the new JPX 923 Hot Metal, JPX 923 Hot Metal Pro, and JPX 923 Hot Metal HL, the manufacturer is adding speed and forgiveness to that list. With the growing importance of hitting the golf ball far in the modern game, every golfer would like to add distance and hit shorter irons into greens. Through a variety of innovative improvements, this new series of irons helps those golfers do precisely that. The bedrock of the three new JPX923 models is the strong 4335 Nickel Chromoly material used to construct the clubheads. The metal is 35% stronger than the material used in previous models and enabled Mizuno to design a thinner, more explosive clubface. The JPX 923 Hot Metal irons are long and forgiving, making them ideal for higher-handicap golfers. The JPX 923 Hot Metal Pros are slightly more compact and feature minimal offset, attractive attributes for middle- and lower-handicappers. Finally, the JPX 923 Hot Metal HL irons are a higher-lofted version of the JPX 923 Hot Metals and make launching the golf ball up in the air even easier.

Mizuno T22 Blue Wedges

STUNNING LOOK, SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE
A new Blue Ion finish for the popular Mizuno T22 Wedge presents golfers with a stunning new option around the greens. Forged in the manufacturer’s famed facility in Hiroshima, Japan, the T22 sports a soft copper underlay beneath the nickel chrome exterior. This addition adds control for golfers and helps them maximize accuracy and spin from every lie. New HydroFlow Micro Grooves are laser etched to improve performance in wet weather conditions. Finally, a compact modified teardrop profile presents a gorgeous look and creates the appearance of a thinner leading edge, an ideal aesthetic for the lower-handicap golfer.
