Who’s It For?

Mizuno has been one of the most recognizable brands in golf for decades, and with good reason. More recently, Mizuno has put serious resources into advancing its drivers – and it’s working. The new ST 230 drivers represent another step forward by Mizuno to deliver golfers more performance through two distinct models. The ST-X 230 model delivers workability through a compact head that will appeal to better players, while additional heel weighting offers a slight draw bias for golfers that struggle with a slice.

The Tech Story

New in 2023 is the Mizuno ST 230 drivers, which include a new CORTECH Chamber. This through-slot provides additional sole flex to improve ball speed retention on impact made all over the clubface, while simultaneously reducing the stress on the clubface. Additionally, the Forged SAT 2041 Beta Titanium Face, which is more resilient than commonly used 6-4 Ti, has been reengineered to pair with the CORTECH Chamber in each driver model for explosive ball speeds. The ST-X 230 model includes weight located closer to the shaft axis that can encourage both a more workable or more draw bias outcome dependent on the player. Lastly, the Quick Switch Hosel Mechanism allows for up to 4 degrees of adjustability to allow golfers to dial in their launch and spin preferences.
