Lee Hodges broke into the win column on the PGA Tour in dramatic fashion, winning the 3M Open by seven shots. In total, Hodges finished the week at 24-under-par and didn’t record a score worse than 67 in any of the four rounds. Throughout the four rounds, his 9.393 strokes gained on approach shots led the field. The highlight was his approach into the 72nd hole. With the tournament essentially over already, Hodges put the exclamation point on the win by spinning back a 125-yard approach shot to one foot away, which he would tap in to officially secure the win.
