Minjee Lee had quite an eventful Sunday afternoon at the Kroger Queen City Championship. With eight holes to play in the tournament, Lee led by five shots. Six holes later, Lee was tied with Charley Hull after Hull made a barrage of birdies to close the gap. Lee actually needed to make a nervy 8-foot putt on the 18th green to salvage a spot in a playoff with Hull, and calmy dropped it to extend the tournament.

 

Both players made routine pars on the first playoff hole and returned to the 18th tee for the second playoff hole. Lee’s wedge approach bounded forward and settled two feet from the hole, resulting in a winning birdie.
