TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver Family Showcases Fargiveness

March 30, 2023

TaylorMade made a significant breakthrough in 2022 with the release of the Stealth driver family, which featured a revolutionary all-carbon construction. The sequel isn't always better than the original, but in this case, it absolutely is.

In 2023, TaylorMade released the Stealth 2 drivers, featuring more carbon to deliver more forgiveness. They're constructed using a new Carbon Reinforced Composite Ring and collectively utilize more of the lightweight material than any drivers in TaylorMade history. TaylorMade's advanced application of carbon allows for the redistribution of mass for more forgiveness and stability.

Additionally, the second iteration of the 60X Carbon Twist Face adds more forgiveness to the speed that was already being delivered. An enhanced Inverted Cone Technology design helps maintain higher ball speeds on off-center strikes for better overall performance.

In total, there are three TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver models -- the Stealth 2, the Stealth 2 HD, and the Stealth 2 Plus. Each delivers Fargiveness, but which is best for your specific tendencies? Take a look below:

Stealth 2Designed for higher MOI and optimal launch, the Stealth 2 features a 25-gram weight positioned in the Inertia Generator to stabilize the clubhead. The Stealth 2's constructed lends itself to the best overall performance of the Stealth 2 driver family and is the model most players will fit into.

Stealth 2 HDThanks to weight savings from the all-carbon construction, TaylorMade was able to shift the Inertia Generator towards the heel. This allows the Stealth 2 HD model to not only serve as the most forgiving of the Stealth 2 drivers, but it also provides the most draw bias. It will be the best fit for higher handicap players or players who struggle with a slice.

Stealth 2 PlusAnd lastly, the Stealth 2 Plus is built for personalized trajectory and performance. It's the model that will be played most frequently by skilled players and tour professionals. A more forward center of gravity reduces launch and spin and enhances workability, while a 15-gram sliding weight allows golfers to fine-tune trajectory and generate the shot shape he or she is looking for.
