Which Titleist T-Series Iron is Right for You?

Two years after the critically acclaimed release of their original T-Series, Titleist rolled out the latest editions of their flagship iron series in early 2021. The rollout included the new 2021 T100, T100s, T200, and T300 Irons.

The new 2021 T100 irons are designed with a compact head shape and thin profile to appear like a blade at address, but with some forgiveness built into the clubhead. It is best suited for consistent ball-strikers that want a touch more forgiveness from their irons compared to a pure blade.

One key update from the previous T100 model is the shiny chrome finish has been replaced with a satin finish in the newest model, offering a similar look to the finishes of the 620 MB and 620 CB irons.

The fully forged, dual cavity T100 clubhead creates unrivaled levels of feel and precision. A tour-contoured sole offers improved turf interaction and feel at impact compared to previous models.

The T100s Irons are designed very similarly to the T100 Irons, however, Titleist has worked to add some extra distance into these irons to appeal to players who like a compact shape but want some added power.

To produce more ball speed, D18 tungsten weighting has been inserted into the heel and toe of the bottom of the clubhead and behind the clubface. This perimeter weighting position enhances MOI and allows Titleist to more precisely position the center of gravity for optimal performance. The T100s Irons add further distance through lofts that are two degrees stronger than their T100 counterparts.

The 2021 T200 irons are designed with the best aspects of both the players iron and game-improvement iron categories. Walking that line resulted in the creation of a club that delivers forgiveness, distance, and workability. Golfers seeking some added distance without sacrificing workability will be the most interested in the T200 irons.

One of the key technologies in the T200 is the high-resilience polymer core, which provides added feel and speed across the face. A Forged L-Face works in concert with an engineered muscle plate to deliver a superb feel and fine-tuned sound.

Finally, the new T300 irons are the ultimate game-improvement iron designed to provide the best combination of distance, forgiveness, and accuracy to the high-handicap player.

The headlining technology in this model is Max Impact, originally introduced in the 2019 T-Series before receiving an update in the 2021 T-Series. Max Impact enhances launch, distance, and forgiveness, and the club’s variable face thickness design ensures that ball speeds remain high, regardless of where contact is made on the clubface.
