The Callaway Hyper X driver was the first driver from the company that featured the Hyperbolic Face Technology that would be found in every metalwood to follow. This technology allows the impact area across a larger portion of the face to be more efficient at transferring energy to the ball, resulting in faster balls speeds that produce longer drives.
