The Tech Story

The Cleveland HB Turbo driver earns its name from the Turbocharged Cup Face, which includes a unique variable thickness pattern that delivers more speed across the entire clubface. It also stretches along the crown and sole, flexing at impact and reflecting that energy back into the ball for explosive ball speeds. Meanwhile, the redesigned HiBore Crown pushes more weight low and deep in the clubhead to drop the center of gravity, resulting in easier high launch conditions. The Ultralight Hosel has helped create more weight savings, which are being stored in the Deep Weighting sole pad. Overall, the center of gravity is 4.4mm deeper and 2.2 mm lower, increasing launch at impact and maximizing distance off the tee. Furthermore, the new Miyazaki C. Kua stock shaft has more weight concentrated toward the grip end, which results in additional head mass and increased MOI.
