Who’s It For?

Cobra adds another driver to its arsenal with its AIR-X series. Lighter, Faster, Easier is the mantra for the Air-X as it’s all about swing speed and distance. It’s Cobra’s lightest weight product line, designed for players with smoother swing tempos looking to create more clubhead speed and increase their distance off the tee. One of two AIR-X models, the Straight Neck Driver, has no offset and provides golfers with a more traditional look.

The Tech Story

The new Cobra AIR-X Driver features a lighter head, shaft and grip. That lightweight combination results in faster swing speeds, and thus the potential for greater distance. Meanwhile, an A.I. designed variable thickness pattern across its H.O.T. Face insert promotes forgiveness across the face, making the AIR-X Driver an easier club to hit. Then there’s a concentrated weight in the heel of the AIR-X, which promotes a draw-bias ball flight and higher launch, helping golfers find more fairways and giving them more scoring opportunities.
