Cobra F-MAX Airspeed Offset Womens Driver
Who’s It For?
Cobra is jumping into the lightweight category with the release of its F-Max Airspeed series, which features an ultra-lightweight design that is built to help golfers swing easier and faster. Everything about the club, from the clubhead to the shaft and the grip, is made lighter than a conventional driver. Golfers with slower and moderate swing speeds will especially notice the benefits of playing the F-Max Airspeed driver.
The Tech Story
The F-Max Airspeed driver is constructed lighter than a conventional driver in every aspect in order to help golfers swing easier and faster. Overall, the driver weighs in at 270 grams, which is over 50 grams lighter than a conventional driver. To achieve this, Cobra used an extremely thin carbon crown to save weight from the clubhead. Some of this weight was moved low and wide to increase MOI, while the rest was eliminated altogether. The clubhead also includes more weight concentrated in the back heel that works to eliminate a slice. Meanwhile, added offset further corrects misses to the right (or left for a left-handed golfer). Golfers will also notice two PWR Ridges on the crown that both increase swing speed on the downswing and help with alignment at address.
