The Tech Story

The Cobra OPTM X Driver is engineered to deliver the perfect balance of speed, forgiveness, and accuracy through advanced MOI and POI optimization. Traditionally, MOI has been the key measure of stability, but POI accounts for rotation across all three axes—horizontal, vertical, and diagonal—to reduce twisting on off-center hits. By combining high MOI with a 50% reduction in POI, Cobra has created a driver that dramatically reduces gear effect for up to 23% tighter dispersion and straighter drives. Using A.I.-driven simulations of millions of impact points, engineers reshaped and redistributed mass symmetrically around the center of gravity for maximum forgiveness. The FutureFit33™ adjustable hosel offers 33 loft and lie settings for ultimate customization without altering face angle, thanks to SMARTPAD® technology. An advanced descending weight system with two adjustable weights (11g and 3g) allows players to fine-tune trajectory for neutral or fade-biased ball flights. Finally, the forged H.O.T. Face insert enhances face flex for faster ball speeds and longer distance across the hitting area.
