Ping G400 LS Tec Driver

Who’s It For?

The Ping G400 LS Tec (Low Spin Technology) Driver is custom-engineered for golfers who need to significantly reduce their spin rate to optimize distance, often those with higher swing speeds. It achieves this low-spin profile by placing tungsten weighting closer to the face, which reduces spin by approximately 300 rpm compared to the standard model. Despite the forward CG bias, the multi-material design maintains exceptional forgiveness, boasting a combined MOI over 9,000 and a deep CG to ensure that high ball speed and distance gains are accompanied by improved accuracy and tight dispersion.

The Tech Story

The Ping G400 LS Tec Driver is technologically engineered to provide an ideal blend of low spin and high forgiveness for maximum performance. This is achieved primarily through a multi-material design where Dragonfly Technology creates an ultra-thin crown and skirt, saving critical weight that is then strategically redistributed via a Tungsten Back Weight positioned slightly forward to reduce spin by approximately 300 rpm, while still boosting the combined MOI to over 9,000 for outstanding forgiveness and tight dispersion. The club's distance potential is enhanced by the Faster Shape, which, along with bolder Crown Turbulators and Vortec Technology, reduces drag by 40% mid-downswing to generate faster clubhead and ball speeds. Finally, the Faster Forged T9S+ Face increases ball flex for hotter ball speeds, and an Enhanced Acoustics internal rib structure ensures the powerful performance is matched by a rich, solid feel and sound at impact..
