The Tech Story

The TaylorMade M2 Driver integrates a suite of advanced technologies to enhance both performance and feel. Its "Geocoustic" design is a key innovation, blending geometry and acoustics. The driver's body is constructed from a low-density 9-1-1 Titanium, and a 6-layer carbon composite crown, along with minimal sound ribs, frees up 25 grams of discretionary mass. This weight is strategically relocated low and back in the club's sole to optimize the center of gravity and boost forgiveness. The new "Geocoustic" sole features a sunken curvature made from ultra-light, thick-thin 9-1-1 Titanium, which not only frees up volume without raising the CG but also adds stiffness to the sole. This stiffness allows the club to better manage vibrations at impact, leading to a refined and powerful sound without the need for additional external sound ribs. For customized performance, the M2 driver is fitted with a 4° aluminum Loft Sleeve that provides 12 adjustable settings, and it comes stock with a Fujikura Pro XLR8 56 high-launch shaft and a new dual-texture 360 performance grip.
